Sportsman’s Warehouse is proud to be the exclusive retailer of the Golden Spike 150th Anniversary rifles. A 150th Model 1866 (sold out) and a 150th Model 1873 (still available) have been created as part of the celebration.

Only 150 of each rifle will be made. The Model 1866 Golden Spike rifles are SOLD OUT. But Model 1873 Golden Spike rifles are STILL AVAILABLE. We anticipate they will sell quickly. Each limited-edition rifle also comes with a certificate of authenticity.

A limited edition lever-action rifle, rich satin oil finish Grade V/VI black walnut, commemorative silver medallion set into stock, polished brass receiver and blued steel octagon barrel with unique gold etching and engraving, rifle-style fore-end cap and crescent butt plate, folding ladder rear sight.

On May 10, 1869, the Union Pacific and Central Pacific railroads met at Promontory Summit, Utah, where the two were linked by a final, ceremonial spike made of gold. Our nation, still recovering from the Civil War, was finally unified by a transcontinental ribbon of steel stretching from sea to shining sea.
