WHERE TO OBTAIN SERVICE: As an owner living in Canada, if your Winchester firearm should require repair, send or deliver the complete firearm to the Authorized Repair Center (ARC) located nearest you. These centers are authorized by the Canada office of Winchester Repeating Arms, the maker of Winchester brand rifles and shotguns. Lists of Authorized Repair Center addresses are subject to change without notice.
MAINTENANCE: The gun owner is responsible for periodic inspection and proper maintenance by a qualified gunsmith to ensure that this firearm remains in proper adjustment and that worn parts are replaced. Authorized Repair Centers are geographically located to afford the owners of both new and old Winchester firearms professional repair in the shortest possible time. These gunsmiths have been thoroughly indoctrinated in factory repair techniques. They are equipped to perform work at competitive prices.

In addition to parts for current Winchester firearms, you may also obtain parts and service for the U.S. manufactured, very early Model 12s, and 42s as well as U.S. Repeating Arms-produced (New Haven, CT) Model 94s, 9410s, 9422s, or 9417s.

When returning your Winchester to the Canada office of Winchester Repeating arms for service or repair always follow the instructions below.
When returning your firearm for service, be sure to follow the guidelines below.
WARNING! MAKE SURE THE FIREARM IS UNLOADED PRIOR TO PACKAGING!
- Be sure to send in the complete firearm.
- Keep a record of your serial number prior to packaging your firearm for shipping.
- Remove all aftermarket accessories prior to packaging the firearm, including scopes, bases, rings, slings, etc.
- The Browning Service Department is not responsible for damage incurred during shipping. Make sure your firearm is adequately packaged and insured before shipping.
- Do not ship firearms inside hard cases.
- Retain your tracking information from the shipper.
- Include a copy of your valid PAL.
- Any firearms that have been altered outside of factory specifications may be returned to factory specifications at owner’s expense. EXAMPLE: Altered or modified triggers, barrel modifications, etc.
