We love Kids and Clays, and Ronald McDonald House Charities
Winchester is a proud sponsor and an active participant in the charitable work of the Kids and Clays Foundation. We were one of the early sponsors of this great program.
To date, the Kids & Clays Foundation has generated nearly $14,000,000 through Sporting Clays, Trap and Skeet events. More importantly, participation in these events has raised awareness for Ronald McDonald House Charities® among thousands of shooters, while assisting thousands of families served by Ronald McDonald Houses each and every day.
Kids & Clays solicits contributions of cash and merchandise from generous National Sponsors and Donors and then donates the items to Ronald McDonald Houses who host annual Sporting Clays, Skeet and Trap fundraising events.
Winchester® Repeating Arms and Winchester Ammunition are partnered with The Kids & Clays Foundation to develop programs and host shooting events across the country to help raise money for Ronald McDonald Houses, Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms and the Ronald McDonald Mobile Medical Units. Ronald McDonald Houses are non-profit organizations that provide temporary lodging for families whose children are being treated in nearby hospitals.
Helping families stay close to their child through a network of local Chapters
The Kids & Clays Foundation is unique in their partnership with the shooting industry. Together, Kids and Clays works with industry volunteers to introduce non-shooters not only to the fun of shooting sports participation, but to how much those sports contribute to wildlife conservation, the national economy, and, in our case, to families of critically ill children during their greatest time of need. The Kids and Clays component is often fun in every way, but the real purpose is to help raise the needed funds for one of the most effective and deserving charities: Ronald McDonald House Charities.
